Visiting our Site
On visiting our SkilledGeoscience site at www.SkilledGeoscience.com,
a users IP address and browser type will be logged and used for
site analysis, statistics and administration purposes only. These
details are analysed for generation of Site Activity Reports and
to constantly improve the value of material on our site. Details
are then disregarded. We do not link the IP address to any personal
information, thus a users session remains anonymous.
On visiting our site a user can view all company profile information,
services, news and information, advertisements and other value-added
services without providing any personal information.
Personal Information
Throughout the SkilledGeoscience site a user might be asked to provide
personal information such as e-mail addresses or other contact details
for us to provide further information, pricing schedules and registrations.
The information provided may be periodically used for SkilledGeoscience
to contact the user, in relation to certain matters pertaining to
their requests of information, or if the user chooses to receive
our quarterly newsletter and promotions regarding our services.

of our member users. SkilledGeoscience will take all reasonable
measures to ensure that the member information on our site is secure,
not tampered with and not given to any party, other than through
legitimate use of our online search facility. SkilledGeoscience
cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of our users.
Security and On-line Payment
For purchases and service payment on-line and submission of credit
card details, all details are encrypted using the industry standard
SSL 3.0 (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol for secure transmission
over the Internet. Financial information such as credit card details
will only be used for billing purposes, and we take all necessary
measures to ensure the user's privacy is maintained.
Cookies
Cookies are small strings of characters that are stored on an individual's
hard disk. They contain information used to 'remember' that the
user has visited the site before and provide the continuity of the
"session" expected by the user. Any 'shopping carts' that we use
on our site, or on-line quotes or registration forms involving database
interaction, must use cookies to track the users' selections. Such
cookies expire at the end of the session. If the user decides not

On-going Information
SkilledGeoscience offers our clients the option to receive a quarterly
newsletter providing information on geoscience developments, technologies,
tenders, promotions and articles of interest. Opting to receive
this information is at the client's discretion.
User Details - Accurate Information
To ensure that all user information is up to date, we provide an
on-line "Members Area" where members can log in with a secure password
and change their details. This enables members to be in control
of all their personal and professional information on the site which
is displayed to the public.
Members must ensure their information is accurate and they remain
responsible for the details. Members are therefore responsible themselves
for ensuring the continuity of service as our policy is to freeze
accounts after 30 days from invoice, if payment has not been received.
It is therefore important our contact and mailing details are current.
User Request - Decline Information
All regular information sent will have a "remove from list" opt-out
URL which activates an e-mail to SkilledGeoscience outlining the
client's request to be removed from the associated service. On receipt
of this e-mail SkilledGeoscience will contact the customer to confirm
the details.
